Historic Flight Foundation's MiG 29 N29UB flew twice today. N29UB was ferried from Arlington to Paine Field on January 23, 2011, see the Kilo-7 website for more information about the airplane. At the Paine Field Community meeting on Tuesday evening, John Sessions spoke briefly about the test conditions conducted on N29UB today, an approach at Grant County Airport, first gear retraction, full stall checks, a 70 degree angle of attack, and some aerobatics before returning to Paine Field. He was very pleased with the airplane and reported no squawks. N29BU will be flown twice on Wednesday. Due to noise concerns, afterburners will not be used on takeoff.
