Paine Field September 8

N780BA is moved from Kilo North to the compass rose for an engine run...

...then to F-2 at the fuel dock.

Fatigue test 787 at the 40-41 Building on September 8.

The airplane was moved out of the factory on January 30, 2010 and moved to the test rig the next day.

The fatigue test 787 is moved from the 40-24 to the flightline November 16, 2009.

While the credentialed media were looking at arcane metal pieces for the 1000th 767 in the 40-24 building, the Skyline Photo staff  surveyed the back of the building. The truss on the ground apparently will be set on the two completed columns alongside the door which is being built on the ground in the parking lot on the north side of the factory. When 787s are assembled in the 40-24, the 767s will be assembled in the 40-32 and then moved out the back of the factory to the flightline. See diagram below:

The northwest corner of the 40-54 is being removed to allow airplanes to be moved around the corner.

  2. I didn't see anything moving, but then I don't hang around there too long with a camera.
